Are you having trouble determining which carpet cleaning company to choose? By asking each company these 5 questions you will be better equipped in determining which company is best.

What does the service include? What exactly am I paying for.
This will allow you to find out what the cleaning company does to clean the carpet. Is it a full service or just basic “spray and suck” cleaning job. We offer: pre spray, agitation, spot removal, extraction, and power dry. Some companies may offer to wipe down the base boards or deodorize as well.

Does the company have customer testimonials?
This will allow you to see what previous customers have said about the companies work in the past. Some testimonials can be faked so if the company has video testimonials, as we do, that will give you a better idea of the company’s reputation.

Does the company have a guarantee?
If you are unhappy with the service what will the company do to make things right? Will they do a touch up job for free? Will they refund the money? You should know what they offer to protect yourself in case the company does an unsatisfactory job.

How long will the carpets be wet/damp?
This is important. Most clients are concerned with how long it will take the carpets to dry, or how long it will be before they can continue with every day life on the carpet. In the past I my clients have been surprised that the carpets will be dry in under 2 hours. They say that the last company asked them to stay off the carpet for a full 24 hours!!! This is very surprising to me, just by extracting the water, the carpets shouldnt be wet for more than 4 hours. After we power dry, sometimes the carpets are dry by the time the job is done.

Are there going to be any hidden fees?

Make sure you know the exact price of the cleaning job before the technician begins cleaning the carpet. Some companies will use bait and switch pricing to increase the revenue of the job. Before we begin we do a walk through with the home owner to assess the exact price of the cleaning job. Over the phone it is impossible to give an exact estimate as we have not yet seen what we will be working with. However, after the assessment the customer knows the exact price of the job and can, at that point, can accept or reject the estimate.

The answers to these questions will help you determine which company is best for you. If you have any more questions on anything related to carpet cleaning please do not hesitate to call us at: (505) 577-6528.

Thank you.

I want you to see this short video that we have compiled of some of our repeat clients.

This short video speaks to the quality of our service and level of professionalism. If a picture is worth a thousand words, how many is a video worth? You be the judge of that.

When Marcos started the company he wanted to emphasize and highlight two points in his business. The first being quality of service. We deliver a 5 star quality level of service to our clients. We understand that we are working in your home where you live with your children, spouse, pets, and other family. This can be a sensitive area so we treat the members of your family and your home with as much respect as possible.

We strive to make you feel very comfortable while we are in your home working. We treat it as a delicate location and respect that it is your home.

The second point is quality of actual carpet cleaning. With our detailed process we take time to perform the job as thorough as possible. The 5 steps of carpet cleaning are: pre spray, agitation, spot removal, extraction, and power dry. We power dry the treated areas after to accelerate the drying period. In some cases all treated areas of carpet are 100% completely dry by the time we leave.

As you can tell by the video we have left clients more than satisfied with the level of customer service and overall quality of work. If these two points are important to you, we are the right company to choose! Thank you for your business. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Not many people know that there are different types of carpet fibers, and therefore different ways to clean each type. The process is the same, but some products are specifically designed to treat certain types of fibers. One cleaning agent DOES NOT clean all types of fibers. Some companies like to cut costs by only having to carry one type of cleaner, but this does not provide for the best possible cleaning.

We use 4 types of pre spray. The first is called OSR and it is used specifically for carpets that have severe pet damage, both stains and smell. This product eliminates odorous materials without leaving strong artificial fragrances behind.

For carpets that are dirty but do not have pet damage, we use 3 different traffic lane cleaners. They are rated by severity and type of soil in the carpet. For moderately dirty carpets with the general wear and tear we use End Zone pre spray, for all olefin carpets and carpets with slightly more than normal wear and tear we use Traffic Slam, and for extreme situations where the carpet needs to be aggressively treated with cleaning solution and power extraction we use Flex. All products are made by bridgepoint company.

We can also use oxygen/pre spray boosters that keep the pre spray active for a longer period time in the carpet. This allows the pre spray to break down more dirt and make it easier to extract.

If you have any questions on the cleaning products that we use please call us at: (505) 577-6528.

There are many carpet cleaning companies out there, so how do you decide which one you are going to choose?

A great way to determine which companies offer a quality, in depth cleaning service is by asking what their process of cleaning the carpet is. You will encounter that most companies might be surprised by your question. It shows that you will not be taken advantage of and that you expect a quality service.

After you speak to a few different companies you will be able to determine who offers the most detailed service. Some companies may only offer pre spray and extraction, some may clean your base boards and power dry. You just have to determine what is most important to you. Do you care if the carpet is a little wet after? Do you need the base boards cleaned?

Our process is as follows…

1. Pre spray: we pre treat the carpet with a solution that is designed to break down dirt, slime, and grime. This solution is not harmful to humans, children, or pets. It is powerful but safe. We use different pre sprays based on the type of carpet and severity of dirtiness.

2. Agitation: using a carpet rake (similar to garden rake except teeth are plastic and closer together like a comb) we brush the pre spray into the carpet. This evenly distributes the pre spray about the carpet. It also scrubs the pre spray down into the carpet fibers to attack dirt that is below the surface. After we have agitated the pre spray we let it dwell in the carpet for about 5-10 minutes. This allows it to break down all dirt and loosen it up for easy extraction.

3. Spot treatment: if there are any tough grease stains or pet urine stains, we will then treat them and agitate them with a solution specifically designed for that type of stain. The pre spray breaks down the traffic lanes but some spots require extra treatment with spot remover.

4. Extraction: using a powerful, heated truck mounted machine we rinse out the pre spray and dirt. We inject 200 degree water into the carpet at around 450 PSI and extract it all out with the truck mounted machine. The machine is powered by a 20 horse power engine and therefore has substantially more power than any electrical powered device. If the carpets have severe damage and cannot be cleaned with conventional methods we use a power extracting machine called the Rotovac 360. To learn more about this please visit our other blog titled Rotovac 360.

5. Power dry: using industrial grade carpet fans we dry the carpet. After cleaning the first 2 areas we will lay down fans in those rooms while we clean the rest of the house. After we’ve cleaned the next 2 areas we will move the fans from the first 2 rooms to the second 2. In the last area that we clean we leave 2 powerful carpet fans to dry the carpet as we wrap up the job and load our equipment in the van.

Note: we ask that you have the areas thoroughly vacuumed before we arrive. This is something that you can do without us so it saves us time, and you money. This removes the physical hard debris so that the pre spray can work on the smaller, hard to get dirt. Also, we ask that you have the furniture moved before we arrive. Again, this saves us time and you money. We are always looking at ways to save you money while continually providing a detailed service.

If you have any questions on our carpet cleaning process or the cleaning products that we use call us now at: (505) 577-6528. We look forward to hearing from you!

The short video below highlights the effectiveness of a power tool that we use on extremely dirty, damaged carpets. We generally only use this tool on carpets that have been neglected and that are in unlivable conditions. This technique to cleaning carpets is very aggressive.

The rotovac 360 has a rotating cleaning head on the bottom of the machine that touches the carpet. On a traditional wand, there are 2 jets and 1 vacuum inlet. The jets and vacuum slot spray water into the carpet and suck it out based on the technique and stamina of the cleaning technician. For traditional cleaning jobs the standard wand does just fine. However, when the carpets need a little extra effort, the rotovac does all the work.

The rotating head spins at up to 2000 RPM’s. It is like a technician cleaning carpet on fast forward. The rotating head agitates the dirt in the carpet as it extracts it all out. The second step of our cleaning process is to agitate the pre spray into the carpet. This evenly distributes the pre spray in the carpet, scrubbing it deep down into the fibers so that tough, hard to reach dirt is broken down and lifted out. Since the head is spinning, this agitation step is constantly happening. This loosens the toughest, hardest to reach soil in all carpets.

The head has 3 jets and 3 vacuum inlets. This is equivalent to about 3 wands being powered by 6 men. This method is quite effective. Don’t take my word for it, see it for yourself in the video below.

Our new carpet cleaning process includes the following:

pre spray – pre treat the carpet with a powerful but harmless solution that is designed to break down the slime and grime that is residing in your carpet. We let the pre spray dwell in the carpet for about 10 minutes while it defuses the bonds of the dirt in the pile.

Agitation – we run a brush like rake through the carpet after the pre spray has been applied. This evenly distributes the pre spray throughout the carpet so that it does not just stay on the surface. This allows the pre spray to get deep down into the carpet fibers to break down dirt that is hidden below.

Extraction – we rinse the carpet out with 200 degree water and suck it all out with a powerful truck mounted carpet cleaning machine. The rinse extracts all of the pre spray as well as the dirt and grime that has been broken down by the pre spray. All of the dirt and water goes to a water tank in the carpet cleaning truck.

Power dry – After the carpet cleaning service we will put down industrial strength air fans to power dry the carpet. This reduces dry times significantly. Are you tired of having your carpets cleaned and having wet carpets for days? We never do that, we extract 85% of the water and then power dry to achieve shortest dry times possible.

Look at the difference in the color of the carpet after we have implemented our thorough cleaning process.

Winter is officially over! That means it’s time for spring cleaning! What do you usually associate with spring cleaning? Moving the furniture, dusting behind the big screen, seeing what is growing under your children’s beds?

If carpet cleaning is not part of your annual spring cleaning week, here are a few reasons you must add it: First, your carpets are the biggest filter in your house. They harbor allergens, dust mites, bacteria, and if you have pets, oh boy, don’t get me started! Every time you step on your dirty carpet, you are releasing the dust and bacteria in to your air for your family and pets to breathe! This is not only dirty, it is also very dangerous.

Second, after the winter your kids and pets have dragged in bucket loads, literally, of dirt! Your regular, everyday, dirt is lingering in your carpets. Do your children and pets play on your carpet? It is likely that they are playing in a very dangerous and dirty environment.

Not to worry though, with our truck mounted system and rotary extraction techniques we can eliminate the dirty that is polluting your house. Call now to book an appointment for a no obligation carpet inspection.

If you own carpet then you know it is impossible to prevent spills and stains. No matter what you do there is always going to be an accident and something is going spill on the carpet and leave a stain. Well we are here to help. Follow these simple steps to prevent long lasting stains.

Step 1: As soon as the spill occurs absorb the excess liquid with clean cloth towels. It is very important that you soak up the liquid immediately after the spill and absorb as much as possibl. Apply pressure with your hands to soak up fluid that is deep in the carpet fibers.

Step 2: Mix 2 or 3 drops of dish soap in a standard spray bottle with water. When mixed shake the bottle to properly distribute the cleaning solution in the water. Apply the water by either pouring a little bit on the affected area or spraying liberally to the affected area. With a household spoon agitate or scrub the solution into the carpet fibers that have been stained.

Step 3: Re-do step 1 and soak up the solution along with the spilled substance with a clean cloth. Make sure you use a clean cloth and not one that you have already used. Apply pressure by standing on the cloth on top of the area.

If the stain remains in your carpet apply plain water to the stain and re-do step 1 again. For best results leave a clean cloth on top of the area with several heavy objects on top to apply pressure and soak up as much of the fluid as possible. Leave the weight on top of the cloth on the area overnight.

If these steps dont completely remove the stain you may have to hire a professional carpet cleaning company to remove the stain.
